Former Junior Titan Chris Holmes was playing with the Valley Forge Freedom of the new Mid-Atlantic Hockey League. The 21 year old was leading his team with 14 goals and 15 assists in 14 games this season. Chris, a former 60 point scorer with the Titan Junior B squad, reached out to Coach Haviland, as he hoped to use his great season start to move up to a better league. Coach Haviland reached out to his ECHL contacts. The ECHL, (AA) one step below the AHL is not NHL money, but its a big step above the MAHL. The Elmira Jackals offered the Brick, NJ native a contract and he now skates for one of the top teams in the league, in front of 4,000 a night. Good Luck Holmesy!
